HPW7000 pH Measurement System

HPW7000 HiPurity Water pH Measurement System provides accurate and stable pH measurement even in low conductivity (<10 mmho/cm) water samples. It is cost effective, easy to install and calibrate, it is considered an industry benchmark for accuracy.

Overview
The water being used to run expensive power generation turbines must be pure to ensure long life of the equipment. Good water chemistry control can minimize corrosion and prevent downtime due to maintenance. The HPW7000 HiPurity Water pH Measurement System is specially designed for this critical but difficult application

What Is It?
The HPW7000 is a specially designed electrode mounting assembly that provides accurate and stable pH measurement even in low conductivity (<10 mmho/cm) water samples. In addition to offering the lowest total cost of ownership, the device comes with a host of other benefits such as minimum calibration errors, improved temperature sensitivity, and small assembly that can be panel or surfaced mounted.
A flowing reference electrode design makes the mounting more compact in water sample panels where space is a constraint. Shielded electrode cables of up to 36 feet eliminate the need for mounting preamplifiers on the assembly and improve noise immunity.  The HPW7000 can be connected to the UDA2182 and the DirectLine® Series for pH measurement.

How Does It Work?
​The HPW7000 combines a specially designed stainless steel flow chamber with a measuring/reference electrode system and integral temperature sensor/solution ground. 
Its specially designed flow chamber optimizes the sample flow volume and creates the proper flow and mixing patterns to make the most accurate and stable pH measurement. The flow chamber cover is keyed and the electrode position is fixed so that the user continues to get the same superior measurement results every time a calibration or replacement is done.
A clamp mechanism holds the electrodes in place in the flow chamber, allowing quick and easy removal and reinstallation of the electrodes for calibration. It uses a flowing reference electrode to provide high accuracy and with minimal calibration offset errors.

What Problems Does It Solve?
​The very low conductivity of high-purity water applications can lead to streaming potentials, drifting and noise with most pH measuring systems. The HPW7000 HiPurity Water pH Measurement System offers increased noise immunity for stable measurement. Cost effective, easy to install and calibrate, it is considered an industry benchmark for accuracy.
