Excellent Gauge Band

Visibility Narrow persistent streaks in the web can result in buildup of ridges on the winder known as gauge bands. Potential scrap losses are huge in downstream slitting operations.

The MXProLine measurements are designed for maximum cross-directional resolution of profile features to detect and prevent such losses. The superior low-noise and accurate mapping qualities of MXProLine scanners and sensors provide for significant reduction of gauge bands by automatic control or early detection and correction by the line operator.

Biaxially-Oriented Films Solutions

Accurate edge-to-edge measurements at both cast and film enable precise real-time mass balance to accurately map film thickness to the individual die bolts. The mass mapping is self-adjusting for any drift in speeds, density, moisture during operation.

The standard two scanner configuration provides the best closed-loop control and response to machine upsets and product changes, with most consistent CD mapping performance.
